• Hello! I’m Kimberly Charleston, published author and writer of books ranging in genre from mystery and thriller to young adult and historical. Like all authors, I’m a big reader of many types of books, but the ones stacked by my bedside are suspense, mystery, and thriller, with a little romance thrown in. So, it’s only natural that my first foray into fiction for adults is a suspense. 

I’ve been a writer for twenty-five years as a syndicated columnist, magazine editor, freelance contributor, and author of over 300 articles for local and national magazines. I’m also the founder of Books Uplift, the one and only book blog celebrating the life changing power of books. 

As for my industry credentials? I’m an active member of the Author’s Guild, Mystery Writers of America, Romance Writers of America, and Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. In the past, I’ve traditionally published a children’s book, educational game, and also won a fictional short story contest. I’ve even enjoyed experiencing book tours, signing events, and speaking at conferences.
